Projects

Even when you truly enjoy your job, you need to do something else every once in a while. On this page you’ll find my something else. From a single post to a full-blown project – anything that is unrelated to translating, editing or copywriting is allowed its fifteen minutes of fame right here.

It seems that the fuller the wardrobe, the less we have to wear. Somewhere in between all those fabulous skirts, eye-catching cardigans and must-have dresses, there are plenty of pretty outfits hiding, waiting to be worn. The trick is how to find them. For this Clothing Challenge, I have put everything that I haven’t worn for the past half year in a big pile, which will be my wardrobe for the coming month. Daily, some of these items get a chance to prove their worth. Not only will I wear them, I’ll also post little drawings on Twitter.

Small-scale Samaritan does what it says on the tin: making a very small part of the world a better place. Every week, I’ll pick an item that I could do without and put it up on this blog for you to have – for free. It really is that simple.

Meet Paper Peggy, fashion’s first cut-out doll with an attitude, and take your time to browse her enviable wardrobe.

The Dutch weblog Oefening baart kunst en literatuur is a personal project for which I’ve posted a column every weekday, pruning my writing, flexing my creative muscle and finding a cure for writer’s block.
